Travis Kelce has admitted he was given an important bit of advice by his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift before he took to the stage at Kelce Jam.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is better known for his performance on the field rather than the stage, but he still gave concert goers something to cheer about on Saturday night as he made an appearance at his own festival.

As 20,000 fans flocked to the Azura Amphitheater in Kansas City over the weekend for the second yearly edition of Kelce Jam, they were treated to special performance from the likes of Lil Wayne, Diplo and 2 Chainz. However, it was the tight-end’s own performance that was a topic of discussion.

Speaking to Page Six, the sports star revealed Taylor told him to “just go out there and have fun”. And that’s exactly what it looked like he did.

The 34-year-old star was seen dancing away throughout the successful event. He even brought out the famous Lombardi Trophy following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win. At one point he launched signed footballs into the crowd, drank a number of drinks and even played DJ with Diplo.

Speaking of his time in the limelight at the event, Travis admitted: “I’d be silly if I tried to imitate what she does!”

He further opened up about enjoying the event and watching it grow. “It’s just been better and better every single year and KC just keeps showing up and showing out,” he told Page Six from the event’s red carpet.

Travis and Taylor were recently spotted enjoying a romantic date in Paris as she continues her Eras world tour. A body language expert told the Mirror that it appeared as though the songstress was ready for a proposal, according to the images.

After analysing the snaps, Judi James told us the Blank Space singer looks “in the mood for a proposal”. She explained: “The setting could hardly have been more romantic for a dinner for two.

“Those candles on the ground encircling their table and the sumptuous surroundings, it might be seen as almost churlish for a guy not to get down on one knee at some stage between the courses,” Judi explained. “Taylor’s body language shows at least four key signs of her romantic mood here, too. There is her arm encircling Travis’ waist as they walk together; the way how when he hangs his arm around her shoulders she grasps his dangling hand in her own in a reciprocal gesture to let him know she loves the PDAs.”
