This is Valentino! He lay very sadly on the street, in a terrible condition. He was abandoned on a corner of Maracaibo to die there, covered in countless giant ticks that attacked him mercilessly.
Fortunately, Valentino was discovered by the organization MANADA GLOBAL PETS TRAVEL, who immediately picked him up and took him to their veterinary clinic to provide him with urgent medical attention.
Unfortunately, Valentino’s prognosis is not encouraging. He is seriously ill, with his mucous membranes extremely pale, and the number of ticks covering him is truly astonishing.
The veterinarians indicate that Valentino will have to remain hospitalized in the clinic for a long period of time, until he manages to stabilize his values and can begin to recover. When he tries to walk, he quickly feels tired, disoriented and exhausted.
“Seeing Valentino in clear recovery brings us a lot of joy, but we still feel so much anguish, anger and helplessness when thinking about how they abandoned him to his fate, leaving him to die alone in that corner,” says Alicia Jiménez, one of the managers of MANADA. GLOBAL PETS TRAVEL.
Fortunately, a week after his rescue, Valentino managed to overcome adversity. “She sat alone near my husband @juls german, seeking his caresses, and she gradually relaxed and lay under him,” Alicia recalls.
Nothing can justify the amount of damage and suffering that Valentino had to go through. From MANADA GLOBAL PETS TRAVEL they demand JUSTICE and that the full rigor of the law be applied against the person or people who abandoned him in those deplorable conditions, with the obvious objective of causing his death.
