I have to say that Louis Mandylor might just be the new Frank Grillo as it seems like I’m posting a new movie that the veteran actor is in every day. On the heels of the post, I just put up for Crossfire, Mandylor is also set to star in a new humans hunted for sport actioner titled Day Labor from indie action director R. Ellis Frazier who has worked with some serious action cinema talent in the past like Gary Daniels and Michael Jai White.

This time he’s teaming up with martial arts inferno and all-around femme fatale Amy Johnston (Accident Man) for some carnage and chaos. Check out the key art and teaser trailer below!

The plot has been done countless times but there’s a reason for it as it is a tried-and-true action trope that continues to please the masses and this one has a racial tension tinge to it to provoke the plot along leading to the carnage that is inevitable. this looks more like a routine acting gig for Johnston, who plays a federal agent, on this one as there are no sequences of her doing any hand to hand but there still looks to be considerable amounts of damage inflicted to a variety of characters in this one.

I don’t want to say anything but there might just be an unfortunate spoiler with her character in the latter half of this trailer if you pay close attention. Nemec is the head sleazeball and he really looks sadistic as the one who is behind hunting illegal aliens for sport.
