Donna Kelce is the first mom to have two sons playing against one another at the Super Bowl.
Donna Kelce was one of the Super Bowl LVII stars leading up to Sunday’s title game given she had a son on each side of the field, with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
Luckily for her, they didn’t actually take the field at the same time during a play due to both of them participating in the offensive side of the ball for their respective team.
Donna Kelce hugged both of her sons at the end of Super Bowl LVII
The NFL’s official Twitter account shared a video of the moment the mother of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, Donna Kelce, made her way on the field after time expired on the clock at Super Bowl LVII to congratulate her children on the game.
In the video we can first see the moment where she finds Travis Kelce, but she appears to have actually saw Jason Kelce first as he tells her to go find his younger brother to celebrate the win in a move that showed Jason’s greatness in how he handled losing the game.
Donna Kelce hoped for a high scoring Super Bowl and got it
In the week leading up to Super Bowl LVII, Donna Kelce had a wish for the dubbed “Kelce Bowl”, for it to be one of the highest scoring Super Bowls of all time given both of her sons playing offense.
Well, she got her wish granted as this was the third highest scoring Super Bowl ever.
Patrick Mahomes makes analysts and fans sick of him, analyst says
The Super Bowl winning quarterback is loved and hated by many people off the gridiron
Mike Florio represents what many believe around the league
Patrick Mahomes as the Kansas Chiefs starter has won 74 games in his career, while only falling in 22. His average record every year is 12 or 13 wins with 4 losses, considering the expanded schedule. However, Mike Florio and many other are not crazy about it anymore.
“He has made the Kansas City Chiefs so good and he is so good that now it’s gone from ‘oh what a great story, Patrick Mahomes is so good, he is so awesome’, to ‘I am so sick of Patrick Mahomes, I am sick of the Chiefs, I am tired of the Chiefs, I don’t want to see the Chiefs anymore’. That’s what makes him a public enemy,” Mike Florio said on an NFL on NBC video.
In 2024 we will find out if the perception changes or it remains the same around the NFL, both commentators and fans.
