He’s a better golfer than singer thankfully for him… I couldn’t believe he was doing it, to be honest. I was just standing on the side. He kind of got blindsided into doing it, so fair play to him.

Shane Lowry said on Rory McIlroy’s singing in a press conference.

Lowry also went on to give details about the celebration. The 37-year-old informed that he and Rory McIlroy drank some “nice stuff” and celebrated the “good times“.

We had a pretty good Wednesday night. We drank some nice stuff… I’ve been on tour I’ve been playing 16 years and I’ve only won seven times. So you got to celebrate the good times too.

Things are now looking a bit different for him though as the win at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans seems to have sorted out that issue for Lowry.

When you’re not shooting the scores you feel like you should be shooting, it becomes difficult. Yeah, I’ve just been hard on myself, the days were getting tougher and tougher and yeah, New Orleans sorted that.

Shane Lowry said in a press conference.

Lowry will enter this signature event with momentum on his side. He will tee off at the 11:22 AM EDT time alongside Xander Schauffele and Wyndham Clark. With a T4 and T3 finish at the Cognizant Classic and the Arnold Palmer Invitational respectively, Lowry will be fancy his chances of going for the win.
