Jon Bon Jovi is raving about his son Jake Bongiovi’s wedding to Millie Bobby Brown.

The rocker proudly confirmed that Bongiovi, 22, and Brown, 20, are married in a clip of his appearance on BBC’s The One Show shared on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday, May 28.

“They’re great,” said Bon Jovi. “They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be. It’s true.” According to The Sun, Bon Jovi’s wife, Dorothea Bongiovi, and Brown’s parents also attended the wedding.

The couple is planning a larger ceremony later this year, per the outlet.

Following their nuptials, the newlyweds were spotted shopping in the Hamptons. Photos obtained by PEOPLE of their Friday, May 24, outing showed the couple looking happy and driving in a Ford convertible with the top down.

The Strangers Things star and the model were spotted out again on Monday, May 27, dressed in casual clothing and wearing their wedding rings.

It’s no surprise that details about their wedding have been kept quiet, as Brown previously revealed in a 2023 interview with WWD that she wanted the keep the details about their special day private.

“I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me,” Brown said.

She announced her engagement to Bongiovi in April 2023 with an Instagram photo of the two that showed her wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. Brown captioned the post with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” writing, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all .”

Their engagement occurred nearly three years after the two went Instagram official in November 2021 by posting a romantic photo taken on the London Eye ferris wheel.

Earlier this month, Brown celebrated Bongiovi’s 22nd birthday in a sweet Instagram post, writing, “The day u were born is my favorite day I love you ❤️.”
