In the post-match interview, Ronaldo was asked about the Messi chants and his performance. With a hint of irritation, he acknowledged the fans’ support for his rival, saying “I’m not surprised they chant Messi’s name, he’s a great player. But I’m focused on my team and our objectives.”

When pressed about his own missed chances, Ronaldo took responsibility, stating, “I should have done better with those opportunities. As a striker, I’m expected to score, and I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to contribute more goals for the team today.”
