Fast X sets up the beginning of the end for the long-running Fast and Furious franchise, pitting Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team against a frightening new villain, Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa). Seeking revenge for the death of his father, Reyes targets Dom and his crew with designs to make them suffer as he once suffered.
The tenth Fast and Furious movie ended on a massive cliffhanger, leaving the fates of many main characters up in the air. An eleventh installment is set to immediately follow the events of Fast X, wrapping up the story that its predecessor began. However, there is still very little that has been revealed about the upcoming finale. The inspiration behind this video: Transformers: Rise of the Beasts continues this trend by not featuring any Decepticons throughout its runtime.
Given how Decepticons have always been integral to the Transformers universe, Transformers 8 should finally give them a full-fledged role in its overarching storyline. The scrapped prologue from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts could be the perfect setup for Megatron’s return, where the powerful Autobot would be forced to come to Earth and duke it out with Optimus Prime for ruthlessly killing so many of his allies. Unicron’s defeat in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts could also serve as a plot device to introduce the Decepticons in Transformers 8. Since teaming up with the Terrorcons did not go as planned for Unicron, he could join forces with the Decepticons and recruit Megatron as his next herald to take over Earth. Their team-up would make a lot of sense since the Autobots and Earthlings have become their common enemy.
