Miraculous Prenatal Metamorphosis: Three Mothers’ Astounding Before and After Portraits ‎

The Fairbanks couple learned that they were expecting a family increase. The couple was thrilled to welcome a new sibling into their family because they already had two children. For both of them, having three children had always been kind of a dream.

This time the expectant mother noticed that the pregnancy was not like the others, but it was not a feeling of uneasiness. It was just different, and the gut feeling, it never goes wrong.

When Crystal Fairbanks was in week 10, she visited the doctor for her regular checkup and was advised to get an ultrasound. The expecting mother considered this to be a great bonus since it was not anticipated. However, during the examination, the physicians’ serious mine quickly took the place of their initial stare.

He said “Oi! Wait a minute now, and I thought that now there is no child in there, or something is wrong. But then he suddenly says, ‘Oh my God, I’m two heartbeats. You are expecting twins ”, says the mother.

The Fairbanks would have four kids instead of just two. They believed that, at least. The mother became aware that there was more as her unborn child developed inside her, but she was unsure of what it was. The couple was indeed expecting triplets.

“I knew all along that the delivery would be through c-section but got overly nervous the few weeks before delivery. I spent the entire nine months of my pregnancy concentrating on maintaining the health of the babies and continuing to cook. I was counting on getting to a safer point every day after hearing many terrifying stories about giving birth too soon.”

By the time we were at a safer place with the babies, the fear of delivery came. My OB was awesome and so patient with me. He knew I was nervous so he scheduled the delivery on his vacation time off because he knew that him being there comforted me. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

It all went so easily. Everyone was genuinely thrilled to be with us, which greatly eased my anxiety. Nearly 20 people were present in the surgery room. For each of the newborns, there were three physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and NICU staff. I remember the anesthesiologist being so sweet to me the whole time. He kept holding my hand and talking me through everything. Evan was popping back and forth from my side to the doctors’ side to where each of the babies were getting oxygen levels checked. Easton was born in the sac first, then Eli arrived head down, then Jade arrived feet first! The whole action was captured on camera by Evan, and it is really amazing. We have chosen to keep that just between us for the time being, however we are releasing a brief excerpt here!

My tummy was so stretched out during surgery that it would hang over the incision, making the healing process more difficult. I had to physically lift it with both hands to see the incision for the first months PP. It’s now finally completely healed!

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Looking back, I wish I wasn’t so nervous for this moment because it is so special. I wish I could relive it again!”

The couple sees all the children as a gift, and is grateful for their “little” family.

Isn’t the human body amazing? Feel free to share so that others can take part in this family’s story.
